~ all these photos were taken in September 2000

~ i had planned to post photos of pyramids, temples

~ and a sphinx ~ to represent Egypt

~

~ but after the historic events of the last several weeks

~ i felt these photos were more appropriate ~ given

~ the courage and determination of the Egyption people

~

~ the children in these shots would be young adults now

~ i imagine a number of them may have been involved

~ in the events surrounding Tahrir Square

~

~ i wish them ~ and all Egyptions ~ the best of luck !!
